Why This Work Exists

"I’ve watched this happen over and over and it’s why I do this work. So no woman is ever passed over for something she was never told."

Over the years I kept hearing the same story. A woman who was the clear next in line for a promotion was passed over. The decision had nothing to do with her performance, but how she was being perceived, and no one had told her what needed to change.

What made it worse was hearing from senior leaders, off the record, that it felt easier to move to the next candidate than risk an uncomfortable conversation or a legal concern. So she kept working harder, doing everything she believed would get her there, with no idea why she kept being overlooked.

The Foundation

Nine schools. Three continents.
One extraordinary education.

I grew up among diplomats and executives from across the globe, attending nine schools across the Middle East, Europe, and Canada by the ninth grade. When you're the new girl nine years in a row, you learn to notice things other people miss, and you become fluent in the silent language of how people are read, judged, and chosen.

I didn't learn this in a classroom. I grew up inside it, across cultures and continents, and that gave me an insider's understanding of the signals that build trust and authority that most consultants can't replicate.

When I arrived in the United States alone at 17, I was painfully shy. Six years later I delivered my first professional speaking engagement.

I share that because I know firsthand that presence isn't something you either have or you don't. It's a skill that can be learned, refined, and used strategically. That's exactly what I teach.
